I used iMyFone D-Back years ago and I'm now worried whether it stole my data or not. I'd really appreciate any replies.

You mean iMyFone? It's basically a scam. 99% of what it claims to do is impossible.

iMyFone is generally considered a scam (exceptions being on very old phones). The best way forward is to chargeback your card and be done with the company.

IpadRehab is your best bet for recovering data from a broken phone/tablet. iMyFone, Dr. Fone, Minitool and the others are all useless garbage.
